About

Hello and welcome to my website. I’m Leah, a writer, blogger and former book marketer with a particular fondness for heavily-filtered Instagram photos (see above!).

Here you will find heartfelt observations on all manner of life-related subjects (from a short precis on why I love train travel, to the perils of being an introvert) alongside a number of art, book and film reviews. (If you look far enough back, you may even uncover a handful of poems and short stories that I just don’t have the heart to delete!)

As a woman in my thirties, I have a particular interest in writing about issues affecting my contemporaries, including infertility and motherhood, mental health, feminism, work and relationships. However, in recent years, thanks (in part) to the arrival of my son, I’ve also started to explore topics relating to male mental health and what it means to be a man in the twenty-first century.

If you would like to commission me to write for you about any of these subjects, or for any marketing or copywriting queries, please do get in touch.

You can find examples of my previously published work here.

  3. Hi Leah! I am just taking some time to say a big thanks to all those kind people who have followed my blog since starting last November. I really appreciate that you took the time when I was just starting out to show an interest in me and this inspired me to persist with my writing and photography. Having a chance to engage with talented bloggers has helped me develop my own skills and I am very grateful. I hope you are still enjoying blogging and look forward to keeping connected. Very best wishes and thanks! TJ
